The administrator

Sophie Aurand, Jacquemart-André Museum Administrator
Sophie Aurand has a Master's Degree in History from Sorbonne University and is also a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Paris.
She began her career at the Grande Halle de la Villette where she worked as a sponsoring and patronage delegate, followed by three years as Marketing Director at the Forum des Images. She then became head of the Paris Musée society, and then three years later joined the Centre Georges Pompidou as Production Manager. In 2002, she became General Administrator of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux where she was responsible for the scheduling and production of exhibitions at national museums and at the national galleries of the Grand Palais. In 2005, she set up a consultancy firm for cultural development and production of exhibitions in France and abroad (USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, the Netherlands...). She joined Culturespaces and the Jacquemart-André Museum as an administrator in 2010.
